First hour in Spa just make sure to survive Scud, let the field thin itself out.

How do they manage pit bays for all these cars?

with great difficulty. Heard some cracking stories from my mechanic who's crewed nurburg many times.

In previous years you'd have to leave your pit box and drive to the petrol bowsers where old mate would be there to put fuel in your car old school style. If all the bowsers were taken, bad luck you'd have to wait. Now I see they drop the fuel hose into the fuel container which has the dry coupling on the end going into the car. Still fills slowly, at least you stay in your pit area, but I've heard there is a minimum pit stop time so I guess it's a bit less rushed. I've got to get there one day.

I can't see if Muscat is there or not.

But I think the deal was along the lines of... If nurburgring didn't happen, then spa would.

Not really sure, or interested any more than passing, it's just nice to know to look out for an Aussie.

His manager pops in to chat once in a while, which is where I heard it.

4 hours left, I'm tired.
Imagine how tired you'll be after racing 24 hours yourself. ;)

Good luck for Spa.
