mmm, you are quick to make assumptions. While I'm no real fan of taxis, the porsches did 34s in race 2, taxis did 35s later in the day when clearly the track wasn't at it's best for tyres. On top the Porsche race is a sprint where the taxis are full of fuel and more laps per set of tyres.

No assumptions, just facts.

The V8 race lap record still stands after 11 years too...

1.35 is slow, 1.34 isn't that good either.

The current GT3 cars will go sub 1.30...

drive bathurst is just an untimed track day, Sprint Bathurst is timed.

The 12 hr is what matters.
