If the signs or venue can be shown to have bwen at fault in some way, they'll chase it

It's more a culpability thing.

If the signs or venue can be shown to have bwen at fault in some way, they'll chase it

possibly, however if he read the ticket it would state that he is responsible for what may or may not occur, much like the ticket to get into a motor racing event as a spectator.
