Allan liked 328s too, although, of course, as a driver, he drove a few different versions but he preferred the earlier ones, owning this example I helped him source.

RIP to a man that lived the dream.

thanks man, I'm not sure I deserve them, but Christ I've taken a hit lately. Another very good mate (Matty) got killed by the falling gate in the Bayswater accident just weeks ago... and here's a fully fucked up stat.... both Allan and Matty were both less than 3 weeks from their 35th birthday.... almost to the same day.....

so if there's anyone out there that knows me, and is approaching 35... wrap yourself in cotton wool, and stay safe.

One small correction.

FWIW, I don't think he was actually married, but he lived as such for a while.

His little girl is just a year old, and he loved his dog deeply too.

I told him having kids would cost him two tenths per minute per kid...

He just laughed and said he had that to spare.

I'm still in shock......

When I heard from Al on Friday he was pumped to be on Pole.... and for some strange reason, I had a funny feeling about how this race was going to end.....

He was one of my best mates and we shared a lot together.

We had this connection that was uncanny, with same initials, our birthday's are 1 day apart and his first born daughter (Mia Mai) shares my first born daughter's birthday too.

When I had dinner with him a few months back, he told me that after Mia Mai was born he was seriously thinking of life after racing and we even discussed some options that he  would consider....

He was taken from us way too young and I am just lost for words......

Phil, please PM or facebook me if you get any news of the funeral. I am in LA at the moment and might be able to swing a flight....

May the Horse be with you....

Man we had some fun too eh.... (For those that don't know Condor man secured funding for Allan to race in Carrera Cup at the AGP in 2003, and we had a ball getting some reasonable results along the way...)

The funeral will obviously be in Denmark, but yes when the service is organised I'll make sure you know.

This pic at Imola of you, Allan and some mysterious fugitive makes me smile....
