Looking at the first post times we must have nearly caught up with you guys. dropped off sad car jumped in 4x4  and were in Hornsby at 
2 0'clock then I came back up the F3 at home by 4. now a red and relax  far too much fun for an old bloke.this was like the view from my mirror in the twisties.And no fine please. I sort of did the whole trip

Yes that's what happened ,I checked the squeal when we got there but all looked OK so I assumed it was a/c ,as I went to leave the rest area the alternator light stayed on and at first I thought belt and I figured change it as I had a spare but not to be ,can't turn water pump with both hands.but hey could have happened in a place that was lot more of an inconveniece,like in the twisties.
