Actually, it's 3 consecutive finishes after all! So we're BOTH wrong!

Anyway, finally finished the car today...

but BLOODY cops! I'm driving along, minding my own business, and they pull me over.... try to find something wrong... and can't.... then proceed to say... "you do realise that you didn't indicate back there?"

I say, "Which road? I thought I did, but to be honest I can't remember, there was certainly no-one around that would have benefitted from my signal anyway, it's a lovely traffic free area around here"...

So anyway, SHE goes away to do licence checks etc, then comes back and says... "I'm giving you a ticket for failing to indicate"

2 points, $116

Thanks for coming.

is it any wonder they're hated so much?

Did you fix that shudder yet?

It might have been the floating calipers seized up?

seriously!

If they're fitted of course ;)

With less than a week to go, I would want to have. It was a really odd coincidence that made resolving the problem take a while to fix. The discs that were on the car had been fine previously but to check, we  swapped them for a spare set which also had been fine and it didn't fix the shudder. Spent ages looking for other things, then went back to the basics and had the discs ground to learn that that was the problem, some slight ridging on both sets.

Nope, they weren't those lousy single piston floating calipers either.....multy piston is king!

Don't ya hate that....

I had a similar problem at the track a while back...

a 360 F1 shift sensor failing.... fitted a new one that i had in stock... and they cost $2500 mind you....

and my new one was No good either! Brand fucking new, in the box still...

ripped up $2500 as I'd had it 9 months and can't prove it wasn't used and therefor can't claim warranty....

I "think" leaving it in my tool box near some magnetic tools may have buggered it...
