No, backwards as in reversing through the cones.

You're not the first one to comment on that.

Ah ok, well that's an interesting thought I'd never thunked.

How would say a GT2 compare to an OHOS on a 100% downhill stage where power is almost meaningless...?

You would need Phil to comment on the relative differences in the cars weight and the difference between 46 year old drum brakes and ceramics - but I'm pretty sure I'd win.  :)

Ah, nix my earlier comment about wanting to go on the next one.  I won't be seen at an event that has an activity involving reversing cars through cones.  Congrats on your achievement but WTF is that about?

Hehe, drums.

But anyhoo, on areas that have a lot of downhill twisty bits like around Adelaide I've been in many different cars through them, the 911s are always competent (as usual), the Testarossa is dreadful - slow like a bus and brake burning smell after 3 corners, the GT4 is not bad - but not good - it needs to be thrown, the Gallardo is actually the best of the bunch there - it might not bite any harder than the GT3 but it's much more poised coming out of the corner meaning power comes on much earlier.

In the end the Elise and X1/9 are absolutely magic and would overtake on the outside if there was room around those fat bastards!!

I thought the same thing, but it was just a bit of fun on the last day.

I might have if it could have kept up with an NSX or Gallardo...

When you started to get stuck into it around Mole Creek on the Sunday, I couldn't keep up.  I just thought it was my driving though.
