I am pretty sure I saw this on a silver SL55 AMG on St kilda road last night driven by a middle aged well to do lady.

Good spot; the only '50' registered on an SA car is a Grand Prix plate; the rights to SA '50' have not been issued.......they are on a 60's Holden.

I nearly took a photo but didn't.  I am sure this was the plate as iI doubled looked as the car was in Vic.

Yes, you did see the plate SA "50".....

BUT

The owner has remade his South Australian Grand Prix number plate to "look" like an SA Historic Plate. Illegal what he has done, but I'm sure his thoughts are who will know in Vic....looks like a Heritage Plate!

It's worth probably $10-$15k and not $150k.

I've seen the car, and investigated it a while ago ;)
