Ok I'm using the default theme now and the times appear correct - so I'm going to systematically disable the custom theme I've made to see where the issue lies.  This could cause some breakages... :tilt:

Ok I've tracked down which file causes the problems - now just to go through a million lines of code to see why... :faint:

If anyone's around, you'll see various old versions of the site popping up randomly until it's fixed.

Ok fixed now.  There was a call to another script on the server which I got rid of - I don't know how it messed things up, just that it did.

The timestamps are being recorded correctly - I just checked some against a Unix Timestamp converter and they came up showing the actual correct time the posts were made so at least there's no errors in the database.

I'm looking at the functions used to get the datetime in the index and the messages themselves - I can't see a difference.

I might set the board to GMT for a while so there's less math to do in my head as I look at times and stuff.

drink less. fix more.
