I'm really not good at this game

Just keep getting "can not log in" message.

Maybe I need to wipe it all and start again, how do I wipe a registry entry?

Have you tried the new JUpload feature?

Yay that worked!! Finally I got them up.

Got a lot of error messages, everytime the page loaded and it wouldn't let me create a new gallery to put them in on that page so had to go out create a new album and then go back again.

Using what browser?  I had problems using IE, but all good with FF.

It's pretty convoluted stuff so not sure when I'll get a chance to get elbow deep into the code so it can be a "standard" feature yet.

I use IE but it's very usable still so don't get to deep in it.

Oh ok it just vomited everywhere when I tried. :?

Point is I'd like it to be the standard feature to help more people upload, but I'm not happy to release it as standard if it's still so buggy.  I'll have a look on the weekend.

Ok I can't get it to work now!!!!   :gnasher: Won't let me log on and I'm on the site in IE!!!

Didn't work last time either so I just used the site upload!!!

I reformatted my computer over the weekend so I had to go through the .reg rigmarole.  I have XP and it wouldn't let me merge the reg file because "you can only import binary files" etc reason.  But I found a solution in Windows XP... Warning for tech heads only:

1.  Start Menu > Run > Type in "regedit" and hit OK.

2.  Using the navigation menu on the left, navigate to the following folder:
Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\PublishingWizard\PublishingWizard\Providers

3.  With that folder selected, click Edit > New > Key (called "AussieExotics")

4.  With the new folder "AussieExotics" selected, click Edit > New > String ... and rename the string "displayname".  Then right-click the new string, click "Modify" and for the Value Data enter "AussieExotics".

5.  Repeat Step 4 for the following Value name/Value Data combinations:

That's it.  Now you'll be able to use the "Publish the selected items to the Web" feature for AE.

I've also worked out a way to create new folders using "Publish the selected items to the Web".  Just create a new folder, then click "next", then go "back" and select the new folder to upload your photos to.

Ouch that hurt my brain and I do this stuff all the time.  :boggled:

I guess I need to spend some time bringing AE into 2008, this place was cutting edge in '06.... :?  Everyone lately is used to FaceBook and what's available there with a crack dedicated development team and last-I-heard $2.5 billion seed money, vs just me paying for my own time... :(

Sweet!  I just used it this morning and did the old method of IE6 log in and create album etc etc...
