Over the past couple of months I have heard rumors from different people in different states that there is going to be a new super car club starting up in Australia by the end of the year.

After hearing it from a number of different people and then chatting to a couple of the people involved in bringing it to Australia I am fairly excited to see what they will bring in terms of a real super car club that Australia could do with.

From what I have heard, the new club, part of the E25 (ecurie25) company (www.ecurie25.co.uk/) will have branches in most capital cities with individuals/groups running the cities.  From what I gather they will be run separately like a franchise/license.

I am not sure if they will share the cars, what it costs to enter or what location they will start up in first but I am catching up with them next week to hear more about it as I am interested in becoming a member.  After being a member of the P1/Supercar Club and thoroughly enjoying the cars I'd like to check it out to see what they can bring to the table.

Unfortunately with what has happened with the P1/Supercar Club, I could imagine they might find it a bit hard getting people to put up money for a membership when a few hundred thousand dollars is still outstanding to people who were club members.  Personally, I hope they can pull it off and fill in some of the gaps that the P1/Supercar club had.

I thought I would put it out there to see if any one else knows anything.
There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work & learning from the f*** ups.

Haven't heard a thing, but interested to hear more as it happens.  The climate may not be right with the recent collapse of such ventures - but there has to be a way for something like this to be successful.

Keep us updated.

Hopefully they can pull it off ok...

It obviously can work, and would like to see so...

I don't think so.

I think the best and most successful clubs are all in very heavily populated areas, with large pools of people/cars/money.

Although Australia is so far fairly recession resistant, I don't think the pools are there to make anything like this sustainable.

Get in early, and out early!

There's already an alternative to SCC in Melbourne.

The configurator is interesting, drag n drop cars onto the calendar and it tells you how many points etc you're using:
