How do they get paid?  I couldn't find it at a glance.

$50 bucks to list your car, then they provide the lease agreement which I suspect adds a %age on top of what the owner wants.

They've got an Elise on there - $300 M-F in Sydney.

Must say I'm not a fan of his methods - 63 spam messages on CarAdvice in one month: http://www.caradvice.com.au/forum/search.php?author_id=681&sr=posts

Not to mention dozens/hundreds of other messageboards - I guess I've done his work for him here...

But not sure I would like someone tearing around in "my" Lotus for 300 bucks a week.

I think this is a very interesting idea... HOWEVER... it has major risks to both parties. Having been in the car rental business for just over a year, I learnt some interesting behaviours that clients exhibit when they rent cars (especially prestige cars which is what I specialise in). The biggest issue there is security bond - people behave very differently with the car when they have  $10,000 on the line (or even $3000 for the "cheap" prestige cars).

Respect for the idea and for getting on ACA!
