To those of us with a need for speed, Thursday night prime-time television viewing can be a challenge. If you're not a fan of network fare such as "Survivor" (CBS), "FlashForward" (ABC), "Vampire Diaries" (CW), "Bones" (Fox) or "Parks and Recreation" (NBC), the National Geographic cable channel may have something running for the next four Thursdays in the 8 p.m. slot that'll rev your engine.

On its series, "Ultimate Factories," NG does a deep dive into four automaker's assembly lines, starting tonight in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy (near Balogna), at the Lamborghini plant where a Murcielago SV is put together "by hand."

Then you can set your DVR for the three ensuing weeks as the film crew travels to Dingolfing, Germany, for the building of the Rolls Royce Phantom (Oct. , catches a GM factory assembly of the Camaro (Oct. 15), and captures the creation of the Porsche 911 in Stuttgart, Germany (Oct. 22).

If nothing else, it could be interesting to analyze the differences between a mass-marketed car like the Camaro and the crafted assembly of high-line European imports, but will it ultimately answer the question: Do you get what you pay for?

I have no idea - I don't have digital teevee and stuff.  This is obviously American, but it will only be a day or two before it's available online, I don't know anything about their worldwide syndication strategies.
