I have filmed the unique Pagani Huayra "La Monza Lisa" starting up and revving multiple times. This is actually the one and only Huayra equipped with a custom titanium exhaust, and it sounds so badass!

I reckon Pagani might struggle a bit now performance has made one of those rare quantum leaps into the far distance with the P1, 918 and LaLa car.
A small manufacturer can't compete with that investment in technology.

They only build about 40 Paganis a year, there will probably still be enough buyers to keep selling that many.

Only? It's more than ever before. They made about 100 zondas over 14 years.

They've got a new factory to handle the 'relative' huge surge in sales. Mostly driven by the global compliance opening up the U.S.

Yeah I was reading about them earlier, there were 135 Zondas built in the first 10 years including test mules and maybe only about 10 more on top of that. I wonder what their waiting list is like now or if they have one?

It's about a 9 month process. The new factory is a fair bit bigger and they are ramping up production. That said I've been to both factories twice and no one ever looks all that busy....

The only thing that annoys me about paganis is the so called 'media' calling every car a one of one or special edition. Every car is different. It always has been. You basically sit down and configure the car from colours to materials.

but surely if you're buying a Pagani, you're not out for the absolute best in performance? because as you say the models as you mention eclipse it, and performance is so far along now nobody can really use it anyway, so wouldnt you be buying it for  the exclusivity, the personalisation and of course the feeling special factor?

I personally would have a Pagani over a P1 or a LaLa
