I have a single mate that lives right on the edge of the city. (Adelaide) He stocks his spare bedrooms with 3 cute Chinese students every year who pay every bill he has plus give him massages, clean the place if needed and cook him nice Chinese meals. They give him zero problems, are neat, tidy and quiet.

Thats the kind of investment you should be making dodger.  :D

That is my 8 year olds business plan (seriously) with the goal of ending up with a"free" house. I am starting to teach them the bigger picture of financial investment and thought that would be an understandable stratergy for him.

please don't get me wrong I'm all for dumps being replaced with modern homes.

Council claims it has an extension from the 1960s so no heritage ,

FFS My home has an extension from the early 90s ,it got heritage early this year ,which i have no issue with.

previous owner outgoing president of the Hawthorn footy club
