Ok, I get it now.  I can see the appeal of a FPV (and therefore HSV).

Really hadn't had much exposure to these toys before hooking up with Sinclair Ford, FPV and John Bowe to shoot various events, but shooting at Wakefield Park with them recently had the keys to a new FPV GT thrown in my direction...

The big GT is too softly sprung and damped for the job, but it was still easy to jump straight in and go fast.

Here's the big purple beast that I got to wrestle:

And a few others...

This guy did a 1:10, and you can see from this that he made up most of that with super deep heavy braking!

Indeed, twas nice to get in touch with my inner bogan.   :headbang:

However I managed to do a reasonably quick lap, and didn't end it with circle work in front of pitlane...  does that mean I fail?

great shots nice to see some heavy aussie metal being thrown around those F6's can be pretty quick with a few mods.

Depends what type and how old it was. XR6 turbos are the only decent Aussie cars, they take mods very well

Was a Holden Senator or Grange can't remember brand new about 2 years ago.

The new Holdens look great in my opinion, but the build is crap, you only get what you pay for .....as usual

They're the more luxurious based models, so that's why it felt like a van.

Jump in a GTS or at the very least an Clubsport R8 and its a different story.
