This is probably not the place to say this, but I like HSV's.

I think they are good value for money and not bad looking cars.

Think about the alternatives Merc C200 or BMW 318i with no options. I prefer HSV personally because you can get all the performance (V8) covered with options and their not badly built. I have driven entry range Mercs and BMW's and they drove me nuts that you'd have to floor the accelerator get anywhere. Try getting uphill with the airconditioner on in one of these.

For me, I like European cars that have a decent amount of power, entry range Mercs BMW's etc do not have this. They are quality built cars, but for me I need power too. People just have different priorities.

Edit: I'm referring to brand-new cars. I understand there are a lot of good second-hand cars for the same price.
