lol another spam hey Ash?

I never knew this thread existed, I am yet to see an electric bike that is half decent. My family business background revolved around these things + pocket bikes+ trail bikes, +petrol scooters+off road dune buggys+Quad bikes, remote controll nitro cars ect..... My father was THE FIRST importer of these things back in 1998

They are a waste of time, they are useless, and the batteries only last a good 50 recharges (assuming the motor or computer controller doesn't give way first). I've probably still got spare parts somewhere in the warehouse if anyone is in need of them, I have no use of them, tons of spares have already gone to the tip.

And on the note of renewable energy..... well it isn't, coal is burnt to produce our electricity, if you use electricity it means you are burning coal instead of petrol, same thing in the end, only difference is you don't notice that you are running your bike on coal.

FYI the bikes and scooters on here for sale @ $1000, we sold the same ones (probably better quality as well as we spent a good 10 years on R&D) for $300. The things cost about $50 in China to make

*end rant* lol
You can say I'm wrong, but my garage doesn't agree with that statement!!!

By "saw" one do you mean parked or in motion?

95% of my trips are <5km and through CBD, and I really need to stop paying so much in taxi fares and I don't like riding a pushie to the office - especially in heat.

Just wondering how practical it would be for my usage.

edit: just read the FAQ: http://www.electricbikes.tinasct.com.au/electric_bikes_faqs.php
