So I have made a pact with a few mates of mine to get as many licenses as we can before the end of the year.

I got my motorbike license on 23rd July, and a couple of weeks ago bought my first bike. A 1992 MC22 CBR250RR Repsol Replica from a guy in Mawson Lakes. My parents are not very happy with me at the moment, and my cousins have already put dips on my "transplantable" organs

Heres the pics. I was playing around with the bosses 50mm f/1.4 lens so not ideal for these pics.

I should make note that since I have got this thing, I haven't even looked at the bimmer. Had to put it on the tender the other day at it's been 2 weeks since I drove it and the battery was nearly flat!

Gees they can rev.  Glad you are enjoying it. :D

I laugh sometimes when one of these or the Suzuki goes by.  Because they pull so many revs its sounds like your riding at the speed of light only to see they are doing the speed limit.

lol you are 100% on that, I let a mate test ride it for me as I have NFI with bikes and it sounded like he was about to enter orbit from at least 500m away.

I don't have the minerals to take it to 20k in 1st yet, but I have done it in 2nd.

Looks like fun.

I thoroughly recommend getting yourself to a track for an advanced skills training course with someone like these guys:  http://www.stayupright.com.au/

It was money well spent for me.  Came away with much more confidence (in a good way).

Great advice Shane, I did the same course here in Melbourne.  They did it at PI.

Cool.  So there's quite a few of us "all rounder" petrol heads here then.
