Pciked up the 4.8i X5 2 months ago...

Looks tuff, plenty of tyre covering the rims... (no more guttering...I hope).
7 seats are handy.....


But I want a X5M for me..... Would not get teh X6M.....

BTW, am I the only one that things the X5M looks too tame?
There is nothing, other than the wheels that really sets them apart from the standard X5!

I was actually thinking this on the way to work this morning. I was following an x5 with some factory 20 wheels on it. And wondered how you are supposed to know what spec it is.
If it was a 3 series, it would be 318, 320, 325, 330 or 335.

its easy... All M's have quad pipes....

But, If i put a blower kit on the 4.8i sport sould there be much difference in performance from a X5M ?

written on the doors, plus the 4.8i has the rectangle pipes out the back, the 3.0 diesel has round pipes
