1973 Renault Alpine in Sth Melbourne.
It has been there for as long as I can remember - very sad. There can't be too many of these around?

An A310/4, nice spotting! But how bizzarre, I'd never expect to see an Alpine abandoned like that in Australia. I'm sure I've seen that car at a previous Vic French Car Day, but the number plate is too recent for when I last saw it.

So sad though, RHD converted and everything. Being the 1,605cc 4 cylinder version, even if the motor is popped it wouldn't take a lot to get it going.

There are a few of the earlier 4 cylinder cars around, but the later A310 with the PRV V6 is more common (relatively).

What vintage is it?  How does the 1605 in that compare to the 1608 in Lancia/Fiats?
