Yes I saw that on Tassie Car Spotters.  I couldn't see the plates on the SLS, so I don't know if it was local.  It was obviously the owner looking pleased as punch talking to one of Buckby's employees next to it.

Hobart/Launceston probably the perfect place for them given that you can drive from one side of the city to the other in under 15 minutes :P

I drove from my joint in the city center of LST to Bell Bay in less time than it takes me to drive to work in brisbane.
