All road registerable (in Qld at least) is what they've suggested to me. I've left it open that if they can show me a SL-C fully registerable in NSW, then we'd likley give it a go rather than chasing down the ultima trail....

Hmmmm, OK if it can be done in NSW it can be done here, in theory anyway.

I do like the idea of the 917 - but anyhoo, did they mention what sort of coinage???

Don't quote me anywhere there's betting involved, but the SL Roadster'y thing was a rolling chassis for about $20K from memory, and the other one was about $50K for the kit, sans engine/trans ... pricing very competitive with the Ultima
C'mon, do it!

We are having are greatest interest at the moment in the SL-C.  But Im expecting big things from the SL-R.

At our Gold Coast factory we are currently building a turnkey SL-C and the build cost will be $200k.  We have another SL-C build to start in a few weeks time and it will be over $300k.  700HP 7.0lt LS7, 6 speed sequential push button manual gearbox, 15 brembo brake package, electric/hydraulic lift kit, light weight rotary forged wheels etc.

Did someone mention one of these things a while back?

Really don't rate Elfin highly at all...

Seen them up close at track days..... Steering rack is woefully undergeered... simply cannot move your arms quick enough to control the car on the limit.

Dave Reynolds is a very accomplished race driver, and he had a terrible accident due to poor handling/steering... killed the Navigator (Mt Buller 2007 or 8?)
