Hope you took some video for him to remember as well. Good on ya dad !!

Son gets his 'Ps' tomorrow so thought it best to give him a whirl in the Lotus while it's Legal on L Plates today.

Big smiles.  Didn't stall once.  Wanted to go faster each time.   :scratchchin:

Super cool. As someone who got to drive some cool cars on my L's he will respect it a great deal.
He may even think if he can prove you his responsible over the coarse of the P period you might let him take it out one day.

I got scared at the start. Most of those shopping centre videos on youtube end up with a vehicle playing with a pole, a building or some flora.... glad to see yours didn't.

Awesome,  your son should remember that experience fondly for the rest of his life. l'm 50 and I remember my father doing the same thing for me In his 308 GTB when I was 17. l have a photo somewhere of the 308 with an L Plate In the back Window.
He also let me take it to school on P Plates once as It was something
that he would have loved to have had the opportunity to do himself.
In retrospect it was an amazingly trusting thing to do.
