This car sold for 37K today.

That is an awesome deal. I should have stayed awake and could have tacked all the bits on the 360  :)
C'mon, do it!

All you need are big brakes, there's nothing else on a 360C that's worth any lap time to a road car. Big brake kit can be bought for about $12k all up.

I assume the Challenge car sold for $37k, not the Challenge stradale???

No it's not a good deal.

The Challenge car is maybe worth $120k at best once repaired.

With fees and stuff it'll be owing him $40k before he starts...

the repair alone will likely consume most of the difference to market value, plus there'll be probelms with the running gear etc.

and it'll be years of hard labour and drama before that thing ever laps a track at speed again.

Shoulda just bought a good one ready to go.

When will people learn?

disaclaimer, maybe it's been bought to part out.... which would just be a bad idea, not a stupid one.

Ah. I was talking about the Stradale ... FF yeeeeeeeeeees, you're all correct - 360C bits wouldn't add much usefulness.

Side question for you - reckon you could fit Ferrari 612 Carbon brakes to the 360 for me if I get me some custom wheels  :)
C'mon, do it!

anything is possible but why would you bother

one trip through the gravel trap will cost you a set of discs and pads... chaching!

just put some big steelies on. carbon brakes are overrated and over priced.

They do stop better though  :tilt:

Hahahah. Spoilsport. With giant carbon brakes I'll never end up in the gravel trap!   :)

They're going cheap from one of my geeerman contacts, there's a few sets for sale on the web too. Wonder if that means a few 612's have been parted out there?

Eit - by the way, this set is cheaper than a set of big steelies...

Back on topic (briefly no doubt)

Does anyone know where the Ohlins shocks went, that are/were in this damaged 360C....

Maybe the rears are still fitted, and the front are in that box.

I suspect they've been pilfered and swapped, but could be wrong.
