The post replys are flying by too fast, almost so fast they are sodomized. ;)

Don't stress, my original post was in relation to people being given the opportunity to drive this car and then abuse it while cold.  This is a public forum and people are making accusations about a cars condition after being given to the press.  Reading this if I were Zagames or another dealer I'd think twice about giving a car out again.  Just saying.

Better to give a car to MHH and get him to write a report. :D

No worries, all good.

I'm sure the journo who did the damage to the seat won't be getting a car from Ferrari for quite some time. Abusing it while cold would be hard to check I spose, just gotta hope that people use some common sense and have respect.

I've seen a few car jounos in action. They are car enthusiasts too. The engine is always well warmed before any action takes place. The fabric seats in the Speciale could get torn just by sitting on something sharp on the seat. The trim would be replaced by now.

I would imagine that journalists are going to be quite intelligent people and know to warm the cars up. When we comment and think of that other journalist not the one we know we are probably thinking of a journalist that doesnt exist. There would be accidents like the seat tears but as a group I'm sure they all push the cars hard but look after them as well. One, they would want to have a good reputation and keep being allowed to test cars. Two, who ever wants to return something theyve loaned that was damaged, even when it was an accident.............. apart from Clarkson?

Great work!!

I had no concerns that a 458 could ever do it and I am glad that a Speciale can't either. This just goes to prove how retarded some people can become when they don't want to admit that they are wrong!!

Fark,

I can see poor FF working out his defence already;

1) The wind was in the wrong direction.
2) The tyres were not brand new.
3) The driver was unskilled.
4) There was too much fuel on board.
5) The sun was in the wrong position.
6) This car was fitted with a radio.
7) The air con was on.

Bla Bla Bla.......
May the Horse be with you....
