I can't seem to make it so that the security PIN thing only gets challenged after a while, in the settings I've told it to only lock the device after 10 minutes, but it asks for a PIN every time. :?

I set a swipe code instead, just trace a pattern you decide between 9 points connecting 4 of them.

Its a one touch 4 digit pin code

Yeah I didn't bother with a code on this device that I've had for the past 6 or so months, but figgered it's probably a good idea, I just don't want to have to code/swipe/face in if it's only been a few minutes since I last used it.

Some more problems, I can't seem to delete cookies or clear cache or anything, it SAYS it has done it, but then I'm still logged in and stuff. :irked:

Also half the time it just loads a blank screen in the browser, no error, no explanation, just a big fat blank screen.

Also I had this great feature on it previously whereby when the screen was off, it would turn the data off, this increased my battery life a zillion-fold, now it's back to "standard" whereby data is constantly being used, so it burns through 20% of the battery per hour without doing shit, so now I have to manually disable/enable the data. :gnasher:

This ICS update is kinda pissing me off, has rendered the phone into just a phone again.

Ok this is utterly ridiculous, I just uninstalled and reinstalled my browser (Dolphini Mini), and I'M STILL FREAKIN' LOGGED IN BUT CAN'T POST OR ANYTHING.

WTF?

Have you tried Settings>Applications>'All' tab> then choose the app then play around from there?

There's options to clear data, move to SD card, clear cache for the app, etc.

Yes, it's utterly confounding, I've tried every method I can think of but none of them take. I'm hardly a technophobe nor android newbie, but this has me ready to drop the thing in the bogger and resurrect my Nokia 3210.
