No the Car has never been registered in Australia, the car has been in NZ from 2002.

Or Jim's mate could come over here to live and bring it with him as a PI.   :p

I'll offer my services - I live over there for a year "owning" the car, I come back and "sell" it to you.  You pay my gumboot expenses.

No - later on either me or jim501 can scour LP/etc for more info on it, Cam sounds like he knows the car already though.

The owner shares his time between NZ and Hong Kong, so I wouldn't be surprised if that's where it is from. I've never asked. Maybe he might chip in.

To be quite frank I wasnt even considering selling the car, but as I was surfing the net I came across that site for the first time.  So I thought I would advertise to see the interest.  Its been quite interesting and have been pleased with the response.

I've pointed him here for any more questions.

Afternoon gents,
The car is originally from Brunei,You can guess whos collection. The Giltrap family in Auckland (owners of Lamborghini ,bentley, aston dealerships amongst others) bought it from there in 2002 ,at the time it had 1100km on the clock, and was in there private use.I made them an offer and purchased the car privately 3 years ago.Car had 1800km when I bought it,currently has 9800km or thereabouts.I have spent the last 3 years getting as much original gear that came with these cars as options, and were on most se30s when new but have disappeared over the years.Original car covers,4 point harness, to name a few. These parts are super difficult to obtain, only being produced new in 94 for 150 cars and not since.Car is beyond well looked after by the boys at Lambo AKL.I pop in there at least 5 or 6 times a year when I get back to NZ for checks, fluids and full servicing.

Hope that helps a little.

Regards

Shane

ps good to see you still up and running Jim

Actually NZ is the best place to buy from for the aussie market at the moment as the aussie has risen against the kiwi dollar alot .Its probably the only currency it has risen against in the past 6 months.

That being said I have decided im definitely keeping the car so if anyone here has any idea how to take down the add I would appreciated the advice,as I dont want to advertise for no reason.

Thanks for the introduction to the site guys, its a nice little local forum.I will continue to lurk

Cheers
