Admittedly the only single clutch auto's I've driven are Gallardo's  and 360's but they were so terrible I'm sworn off except for dual clutch setups.

First-gen Gallardo eGear was terrible, mainly in stop-start situations and in the 1-2 gear change, but the LP-series was a million times better and easily suitable as a city car / daily driver.

The eGear in the Murci from memory was as rough as the first-gen Gallardo, but to my mind that suited the car much better as it's supposed to be the big, bad, intimidating V12 versus the 'everyday supercar' of the Gallardo.

I found the LP640 e-gear better than my two Gallardos. The heavy steering with strong self-centring was less fun.

Interesting.

The single clutch setup is great on the LPs.. i know earlier model murcis really suffered with the paddle. The feel, response and changes are much better than the CS which feels slow and clunky in comparison.

When i get out of the LP into a normal car i feel myelf over steering from the work i had to put into the LP.

That and having to adjust my body back into a normal driving position from the unorthadox driving position in the LP

The one I'm referring to is this one (and I hope the pics are accurate, because I saved them a long time ago):

Looks like a different car - the Duttons car has white calipers and only a black-red two-tone trim

surprising,

Perhaps the stupid money is genuinely slowing down now.

Same 997 GT Porsche's online as 12 months ago. I think we've hit the plateau

$20k won't make a diff.

Go in at $350k, wait for them to say 'not possible' then wait for them to chase.

Works for me.
