What are these realistically worth? 15-20k?

Assuming the buyer gets display rights :p

These plates will not change hands near on $20k!

Even $15 is really stretching a potential sale......even though there are a few serious collectors of "7" plates, these guys are astute & will not pay an arm & a leg for this plate, or it would of sold if it was a "must have" plate for them.

I would say a reasonable asking price of circa $12k, maybe up to $14k with a potential sale price in that region.

The SA '7770' Red E-type Jag roadster was the cover car of a local Classic Car magazine in the late 80s/early 90s.....I'll have to dig the mag out.

8880 sold for $6,200 in 2009 - I was the underbidder:

....so, given some recent decent growth there is a baseline value.

Agreed, that's close to nsw prices and higher than vic prices, one word......dreeaaaammmminnnnn!!!
