Nothing here at my house, or shop

In 1987 we had a full hurricane in Englands South east... utter devastation, many many more times than this little thing we had on saturday...

I woke up thinking, why is all the cast alluminium garden furniture scattered around the garden, and why am I a bit cold...

My parents house lost a huge chunk of roof, and they were away, I was home alone... as a 17 yr old... I thought "shit, they're gunna think I partied with my mates to do this!" :scared:

Luckily, they had to drive home through even worse conditions and re-direct pasts dozens of fallen trees, so they kind of knew about it before they got home.

I'd slept through the whole thing.

Next day was a family members 40'th  birthday... but that's another story...  :melting:

As 98 said, our area was hit quite hard.  The noise was deafening.  I always put a bucket out in the rain and I got 50mm in less than an hour.  Half my garden ended up in the street.  Just finished cleaning the Court up tonight.
