Dell stuff seems to have improved a lot. We had horrible problems with desktops and laptops a few years back - have started trying them again (including my shiny new alienware laptop) and they've been great over the last 12 months. We have 'normal' portable projectors from Dell, all have been reliable, and lamps cheap/easy to source.

There products may have but the phone support is still the same crappy buck passing show it always has been. I am trying to buy a projector mount and got thrown to 9 people who couldn't help.

Anyway the unit arrived, its pretty cool. It should serve the purpose, I am not keen on the interactive bit but I may have set it up wrong but as it stands now it needs a separate application so its not part of the projector.

Select Dell in the ap list, go to webbrowser and it will automatically direct you to the projector and you can download the application for wireless screen sharing.

Brightness and sharpness really good. You wouldn't need to dim lights to use but I will confirm in a larger room next week. You are More than welcome to have a play.

Can have up to 4 computers projecting at once too.

I think the sanyo would be better being 1080p but this will suit our needs.

I have to buy the mount from the us and send it to my old uni mate and he will send it here. Other than that everything else I needed come in the box.

Anytime but if you drop in on way home it will be easier. After next thurs our boardroom will be habitable otherwise it's my office.
