Steve and AHG, fantastic guys both went too soon.

Could not agree with you more. Was a privilege to have known them. :(

Never had the pleasure of meeting AHG, just random emails via the Yahoo group back in the day, as well as his "Seeya" email which really hit me at the time.

Hung out with Beama loads of times, so cluey but so ... confused. He always looked and sounded confused. :p

One of my favourites is cruising along one morning in Tassie and Steve spends the best part of two minutes outlining the route we're about to take over the walkie talkies, me and mhh are right behind in the Lambo and I just go "What?", he repeats the entire thing, I go "What?", and etc... :D

Yes, Steve did go too soon, I was just recently scrolling through my contacts looking for someone else & went over Steve's, funny I still haven't deleted it......guess its a nice way for me to remember him each time his contact pops up :)

I remember when once in Melbourne I took him for lunch in Chapel St and the food was crap. I could see it on his face that he was dissapointed, but didn't want to say it, and I felt terrible. So I took him to my house and ate there.

Oh yeah, the first time I was in his M5 he showed off just before his first EITOB and nearly lost control. I was like "dude, are you sure you are ok to drive in the outback??" LOL
