Actually i think black with orange wheels is the most sought after in the 997.1

But i agree that purple will be the pick of the bunch in future years

Viper Green is the holy grail in the UK, and I think it is the best looking .1 RS colour too.

I just had a look see at the orange

Better in real life.
Epic machine. I love the vents on the front wheel arch.
I would have liked to have seen clear carbon on the back wing.

Awesome car

Yea yea yea

the car looks great, decals down the side break it up and suit the car.
The matching interior is a great touch. I would like to see a photo shop of the car with matching orange brakes (yes I know the Porsche colour scheme on brakes).

It gave me an itch that I will have to squash before it grows into another thing under a car cover in the garage

Mark, are you going for the full wrap?

Yes. Actually, we didn't discuss it but the last one was fully wrapped so I'm sure this one will be too. Double wrapping on sills rear and rear guards too - the second layer becomes a tear-off after a Tassie or NT trip.

I never thought about double wrapped before.  Is it viable for the long term, or only for a special event the removal?

I do the same thing as Mark. My Speciale is double wrapped in high impact areas and has done 3 laps of Tassie without drama.
It now needs replacing in a few areas after the last trip.

Do they replace both layers, or just the top?

I will have to speak to my guy when the time comes.
