Thanks all!  The RS6 was my first choice but we weren't going to spend $260K on a new family car, and when I drove it earlier in the year there weren't any demo / used cars listed for less than about $240K.

I guess all the muck around with the Porsche dealers was a blessing in disguise, as it bought us enough time for the RS6 to depreciate down to our budget.

Well murphy sure reads AE - my wife flew into Brisbane to collect the car at 7:30am yesterday and it took the QLD transport idiots 4.5 hours to issue an unreg permit so she could drive it home...

She's thrilled with her new car though, so definitely worth the stuff around the Porsche dealers gave us.
