I suspect most people (the ones who buy Armorall & pay entry fees) glance at this list and see two marques, then get back to talking Holdens vs Fords.

Interesting comment, on the Ustream people were comparing the times to the V8 Supercars all day...  we had people comparing and people that don't like the V8s asking why people bothered comparing them. Maybe it would make an interesting mix if something was done to make the Porsche's a fraction faster and have both classes race together at least once a year at an event like this.

so beating 5 A class cars and winning class B after 12 long hours to you is not as exciting as having issues, being stuck in the pits, not being able to work out what was wrong, and losing to a B class car?  :irked:

it sounds like for you massa's title loss in 08 was more exciting than hamilton winning it.

i don't think he would agree.

that's right, you did a superb job, a truly great achievement, but we achieved far more than ANYONE expected, and had a blast doing it. We hosed the other ferrari in speed and position, depsite a considerable budget difference. Even our 2nd driver beat Bowes time, which we're stoked about.

Just finishing was mega for us, but with a Porsche, anything less would be a dissapointment.

Are poms incapable of being humble in defeat?  :D :p

I suggest you look up what humble means, clearly, you have no idea.

"Just finishing" doesn't sound too mega after recruiting fast drivers and going in with optimistic expectations.

you'll see soon enough.

Fast though... all drivers.. we're a chance

I know you like to piss in scuds pockets, and you can congratulate him on beating us in a slower, newer, fresher car, it was a great job he and his team did.

But you'll not take any of my personal satisfaction away, from getting this car such a strong result.

You quoted the line... and the drivers WERE all fast, and we WERE a chance... can't you see that...?

You're making yourself look almost as silly as scud.

we only recruited ONE fast driver... Simonsen,

the other fast driver paid to drive, and he was faster than Scuds professional driver (and the other two obviously), since you raised the point. :tilt:

we were optimistic, and we achieved better than we thought.
