That was awesome watching that until you got squeezed out.  Surely the guy could see you in his mirrors.

We were hitting 260 at the end of the straight and the Dodge and Angelo's 650hp Lotus were close to 280. Sometimes the decision process of whether to go for the apex or get on the brakes and tuck behind the slower car aren't clear at such closing speeds.

It must be hard closing so fast.  Now I must confess I own one of those old shitter 944's that you flew past although I didn't do PI that weekend.   I've done some testing in the past where yes I've actually been quicker than other cars and found the passing harder than being passed.

I watched a video here recently with you in your Radical, would be interested to hear your thoughts over the positives and negitives of the tin top versus the Radical and vice versa??

I love racing both of them and as you'd imagine are completely different. The tin tops give you a load more time to straighten the car when you get it out of shape around a corner but having far less direct turning and braking means the driver's skill is a big factor each lap.
With the Radical, once the driver can get over the fear factor of holding flat through corners and working with their aero it becomes more an exercise of replicating this lap after lap. Getting the nose in and tail a little loose at speed will get you through corners a bit quicker but requires a lot of micro adjustment. I was fortunate enough to have Ben Barker work with me when I first got the Radical and would recommend getting professional help for all drivers hitting the track in a new type of vehicle. Saves you time, money and lowers lap times very quickly. Jonathan Webb helped in the Porsche and he is such a smooth driver.
At the end of the day, I've been a long time Porsche fan and I love the sound of the engine as it lives and thrives  over 6000 RPM all race. I also love racing against the various other 2B and GT cars that have various strengths and weaknesses, especially around the icon tracks. The Radical can get a bit same-same if there are only a couple competitive guys to race on the day.
