Great event, but I have to say it IS a shame to be dominated by such characterless cars.

But, in the absence of anything good enough, with character, to challenge them, good on 'em!

The whites Lambo really cannot and should not even be taken seriously. I'd go as far as to say "IF" I had the money, talent, time and car for the event, I wouldn't run anyway, with such blatant rule mongering taking place.

That car is actually WORSE than the Mosler being in GT3 racing...

The White car is some kind of Trofeo thingy isnt it?
Apparently it has all sorts of tricky bits and watchamacallits.
Bit different to the Weekes car I believe?
Maybe you can shed some light...

They're both mongrels to some degree...

But the white's car is all kinds of things!

An incredible car, and superbly done, but not in the spirit of the rules/game.

2010 Nissan GTR vs 1974 Carrera RSR

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39y8c_CLdHk

GTR passes RSR then it's a scratch race.

Watch 'til end, RSR all but keeps up with TT winning GTR.....GTR also spits flames from exhaust, quite excellent.

Enjoy.

I think you will find Quinn was managing a near on 3 minute outright lead at that stage on the last day, he jumped the Porsche after catching it on the road in case it dropped oil/crashed in front of him, and then just cruised along. Broadbents car is nice I am sure, but its in a whole different world to Quinns :)

Didnt the Whites car start as a Gallardo Super Leggera (first gen car) which has had god knows how many upgrades thrown at it including a full Super Trofeo aero kit built by Reiter amongst other stuff. We are talking about the same white Gallardo they started with, not a 560-4? If so then it can hardly be called a Super Trofeo, just a Gallardo SL with the kitchen sink thrown at it.

From what I can see the Whites car and the Weekes cars are light years apart regarding spec.

It first saw the light of day before the SL had been announced. It "became" an SL and then a 560 along the way.
