I would go for a Mercedes SLK 55 AMG over the Z4.  A used Nissan GTR in that price range will put you into the blown gearbox range and lots of possible costs and unrelaiability.

Thanks again for the info, we really appreciate your thoughts on this.

One like this?? Or is 2005 to old do you think? So is the view SLK 55 over the Z4? A lot of rental companies seem to have Z4's ??
Mercedes Benz SLK 2005

Lotus Elise Convertible 2005 ?? Or again 2005 to old?
Is Elise more popular than other models?
http://www.drive.com.au/used-cars/lotus/elise/adelaide/detail.aspx?id=36340438&lid=36340438&pg=1&pp=5&d=0

What about an Aston Martin?
eg.  http://www.drive.com.au/used-cars/aston+martin/v8/melbourne/detail.aspx?id=36147624&lid=36147624&pg=1&pp=4&d=0

Audi TT Roadster
eg. 2008 http://www.drive.com.au/used-cars/audi/tt/sydney/detail.aspx?id=36397520&lid=36397520&pg=1&pp=0&d=0

Hummer H3 Luxury
eg. 2008 http://www.drive.com.au/used-cars/hummer/h3/perth/detail.aspx?id=34032687&lid=34032687&pg=1&pp=2&d=0

The Boxster is locked in, Lotus is probably another good one.
We just want to choose 2-3 others. I think we need some variety the Hummer in the mix may be something different to the convertible sporty cars.

We want as much of a wow factor element as is possible, given we cant but the latest Ferrari or Lamborghini to start with.
When we can perhaps we can get a Lamborghini like this 2004 $169k ??

Our market will be mainly to men so we also need to consider that when choosing the cars. Being in Perth a large majority of the guys are in the mining industry so this will be our main market.

Bang for bucks I think it is, the exige is more a drivers car not a showoff car

Look into the running costs then make the choice, look at a 911 / 997 carrera cab. cheeper to buy cheeper to run BUT not as much show as the Aston

The running costs would kill you and then all your eggs are in 1 basket

Still deciding over Z4 and Mercedes Benz SLK 2005 as I said a lot of rental car co's have Z4's so maybe they are more popular??

We need a few (3 give or take) cars that will appeal to what will be our main market men 25+ that predominantly work in the mines. Cars that they will want to rent out for a day or so.

1. Porsche Boxter
2. Hummer H2 Luxury ?
3. Chevrolet Camaro ??
4. ?
