Tyler Owen is based in Warrnambool, Victoria. He is a third generation Australian Champion and won his first Australasian Off road Title at just 11 years of age.

In 2007, after major successes in off road and karting, Tyler moved into the Aussie Racing Cars Super Series. His team campaigned an OwenTruss sponsored Falcon for season 2007 through to season 2009. The team purchased a brand new Commodore Aussie Racing Car for season 2010 and secured support of Paul Morris and the SuperCheap Auto V8 Supercar team.

With major V8 Supercar teams now noticing Tyler’s skill and determination to win, the association with Paul Morris saw Tyler complete a number of V8 Supercar test sessions at Sydney’s Eastern Creek Raceway. The successful test sessions have opened the door for Tyler to potentially secure a V8 Supercar drive in the endurance events in future years.
Tyler currently leads equally with Peter Carr in the point scores for the 2011 season
